First they came to our Learning Showcase, which was led by Ms Becky on the theme 'Erase Bullying With Kindness'. After that they all went to the staff room for a short lesson with me in which I taught them about about how our school works and how children learn at ISK: lots of talking and collaboration - which also feeds into the development of English language development in our EAL students. These are the basics of international education. For the visiting students the key takeaway is - everyone needs to talk! After that they went in pairs to spend some time in a class and see for themselves.
I think they found the visit very interesting. They were amazed at how attentive and well behaved our students were!
(Actually, this is also a common observation when we have visitors from local schools. Mrs Seo, the Vice Principal from Seongjeong wanted to take 'Gimmie 5' back to her school. I'll have to catch up soon and see if she is using it.)
