At ISK our mission is to:
Our students strive to achieve ISK's mission by demonstrating and developing the Personal Goals. Personal Goals to support learner's growth in all age groups, subjects, and everyday life. There are eight personal goals are qualities that we want all of the learners at ISK to possess. Below there is an explanation of each personal goal.
ISK's school mascot is a turtle named Boogie. Boogie is short for kobugi (거북이), which means ‘turtle’ in Korean. His shell is decorated with the personal goals and their respective colours. Boogie does his best to show all personal goals at any given time.
The '@Home' program is an ISK initiative to further develop the Personal Goals outside of school. Each month a brochure will go home based on the Personal Goal Focus for that month. Inside the brochure there is an explanation of the personal goal and how it relates to our mission. There are activities to do as a family, as well as reflection questions to discuss. Check out this month's @Home brochure about by following this link.
Families are invited to tweet a photo or share learning to @HomeISK on Twitter. To the left is @HomeISK's Twitter feed.
